
Immigration Advice Service at Asha
Asha is launching a dedicated Immigration Advice Service in association with Refugee Action. It will provide vital support to vulnerable individuals in the community…
The service will start on Thursday, 3rd April 2025. It will run every other Thursday from 11:00am – 1:00pm.
The service will focus on helping those who are particularly vulnerable and require immigration advice in the following areas:
- Fresh claims on protection or family life grounds where legal aid is unavailable or unlikely to be granted, particularly if the case is borderline or involves severe mental health concerns, provided there are clear merits.
- Leave to Remain (LTR) applications, prioritising cases involving children, including 20-year applications.
- Domestic violence immigration applications.
- Further Leave to Remain renewals for particularly vulnerable individuals.
- Other complex cases where additional vulnerabilities are present.
