ASHA carries a stock of donated second hand clothing which is available for any asylum seeker who calls.

Sometimes ASHA receives clothing which clutters the rails but is unlikely to find anyone who wants it. It may be too large or too worn. Seeking a solution ASHA asks donors to identify which clothing is ‘nearly new’ and to separate this from worn clothing which can be sold. The money received is used to purchase the food products which are always in short supply. These are Basmati and long grain rice, Long life milk, Sunflower and Sugar.

Worn clothing and old shoes can also be sold for recycling.

ASHA accepts good quality bedding and household items which quickly find a home.

On average ASHA gives clothing to 150-200 people month
